Business Application Specialist

Yanmar America is looking for a Business Application Specialist to support, maintain, and enhance our core business applications. In this role, you'll work closely with teams across the organization to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, implement system enhancements, and help ensure our business applications continue to meet both current and future business needs.

What You'll Do

✔ Serve as the primary point of contact for business application support and issue resolution.

✔ Configure, maintain, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Salesforce, and other business applications.

✔ Partner with business teams to understand requirements and recommend effective system solutions.

✔ Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and system enhancements.

✔ Support integrations between Dynamics 365 and other business systems.

✔ Participate in system upgrades, user acceptance testing (UAT), and new feature implementations.

✔ Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, training materials, and user guides.

✔ Provide user training and ongoing application support.

✔ Coordinate with external vendors to implement improvements and support managed services.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and business. The ideal candidate understands how business applications support daily operations and enjoys helping users solve problems while continuously improving business processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Salesforce.

  • Experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting ERP and/or CRM systems.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.

  • Experience troubleshooting application issues and working directly with business users to resolve them.

  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

  • Experience with Salesforce administration or support.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps.

  • Experience with system integrations and business process automation.

  • Experience with X++ or Salesforce Apex development.

  • Experience supporting business applications in a manufacturing environment.
