Technical Coordinator – Repower

Do you have a deep understanding of diesel engines and enjoy solving technical challenges, supporting customers, and coordinating complex projects? If so, Yanmar America is looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our Repower team.

This is a unique opportunity for a diesel engine professional who wants to leverage both their technical expertise and organizational skills. You'll play a key role in supporting customers, managing compliance tracking, developing engine replacement specifications, maintaining product data, and helping keep our Repower operation running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

✔ Manage core charge returns and EPA/CARB compliance tracking using Salesforce and Dynamics D365

✔ Develop modern replacement engine specifications for Repower applications

✔ Create and maintain released products, Bills of Material (BOMs), and standard costs in Dynamics D365

✔ Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers

✔ Review quote requests, assign lead times, and issue customer quotations when needed

✔ Remap ECU files to ensure engines are configured correctly before shipment

✔ Monitor shop supplies and equipment readiness

✔ Support day-to-day Repower operations, including inventory, receiving, stocking, crating, production support, and related activities as needed

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of diesel engine assembly, teardown, and repair experience (Yanmar experience strongly preferred)

Expert-level understanding of diesel engine systems and operation

Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills

Experience working with technical documentation, product setup, and BOM management

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Dynamics D365, Salesforce, RPMS, YDS, YGSM, and Smart Assist

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision

Forklift and scissor lift operation experience

Strong attention to detail, planning, organization, and safety awareness

Qualifications:

• GED or equivalent required

• Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities

• Ability to assist with lifting heavy engine components, including 100-pound cylinder heads (with assistance)

• Ability to work in both office and shop environments

• Full-time position based in Adairsville, Georgia
