Business Analyst
Finance Systems | Loan Origination & Dealer Platforms

Location: Acworth (Hybrid)

Yanmar America is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the technical expert and key liaison between the business operations team and the technology implementation team. This role is critical to ensuring that YAF’s core finance systems, technology roadmap, and system enhancements accurately support business operations and the needs of the dealer network.

This position works closely with the Business Support Manager, Program Architect, IT teams, and external vendors to document business processes, manage system requirements, and support the successful implementation and continuous improvement of YAF’s finance platforms.


Position Summary

The Business Analyst serves as the primary technical liaison between business operations and technology delivery teams. This role is responsible for documenting detailed business requirements, modeling current and future-state processes, and ensuring that system capabilities and enhancements align with YAF’s operational, credit, and compliance needs.

The position plays a central role in supporting the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization of the Loan Origination System (LOS), Dealer Portal, and all integrated systems supporting the end-to-end lending lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Requirements Management

  • Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for the Loan Origination System, Dealer Portal, and all integrated systems.

  • Maintain clear and traceable documentation for business requirements, system specifications, and change requests.

System Capability Expertise

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the technical capabilities and limitations of YAF’s core finance platforms.

  • Respond to technical questions from business stakeholders, the Business Support team, and the Program Architect.

Process Modeling

  • Document current-state and future-state business process flows and system diagrams.

  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders, particularly around the Origination-to-Servicing handoff.

Technical Liaison

  • Translate architectural designs and business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for implementation teams.

  • Act as the primary bridge between business users and technical delivery teams.

System Enhancement & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage the lifecycle of system enhancements, fixes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support optimization of system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency across all loan products.

Quality Assurance Support

  • Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for system changes and new functionality.

  • Provide technical support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Validate that deployed solutions meet documented business and architectural requirements.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Assist IT and Dealer Support teams with diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, data integrity problems, and integration failures.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in business process mapping and requirements documentation (BRD, FSD)

  • Strong technical proficiency with financial systems, particularly Loan Origination Systems and related integrations

  • Experience working with APIs, web services, and third-party system integrations

  • Ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Familiarity with financial data models, credit decisioning logic, and document management workflows

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Solution Consultant in financial services or captive finance

  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and supporting the implementation of a Loan Origination System or similar core banking platform

  • Proficiency with SQL, data analysis tools, and system modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart

  • Experience working on projects involving integration with third-party vendor systems is highly desirable

Pay Range: $81,800 - $102,256 per hour
