Technical Support Representative – Off-Road Equipment

Adairsville, GA | Full-Time

This is not an IT help desk job. You’ll be the go-to expert providing technical troubleshooting, repair advice, and product support for our dealer and customer network across North America.


What You’ll Do

  • Be the first line of support for dealers, OEMs, and customers needing help with YANMAR products (industrial engines, construction machinery, agriculture tractors, UTVs).

  • Provide hands-on technical advice: troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair recommendations, and warranty guidance.

  • Use tools like Salesforce, diagnostic software, and technical manuals to solve real equipment challenges.

  • Assist dealers with warranty claims and coordinate technical visits when needed.

  • Work closely with our Service, Quality, and Aftermarket teams to keep YANMAR equipment running strong.

  • Stay sharp: continuously learn and train on new YANMAR products, electronic/hydraulic controls, and diagnostic tools.


What We’re Looking For

  • Technical know-how: 2+ years working with diesel engines, agricultural/construction equipment, or heavy-duty machinery (manufacturer, dealer, or service shop).

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting tools like volt/ohm meters, CAN bus/OBD II, or similar diagnostic equipment.

  • Strong communication skills—you can explain technical issues clearly to customers and dealers.

  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Associates degree or technical certification (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in customer support (call center or face-to-face) is a plus.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus!
