SUMMARY

Maintains equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements through the diagnosis and repair of all company heavy equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose & complete repairs on all company equipment
• Ability to complete services by company standards
• Adjust, or repair and replace parts in engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes and other equipment
• Ability to diagnose, adjust or repair hydraulic systems and components
• Perform road service on equipment as required
• Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner
• Good computer skills
• Ability to keep shop neat and organized to be OSHA & EPA compliant
• Responsible for tools up to 2”
• Professional communication skills
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• College or technical school certificate and two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Team-based interpersonal skills; positive and constructive approach
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and comfortable communicating via e-mail
