Full job description

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our facility operating smoothly and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks — from ensuring our cutting tables and sample machines are in top working condition, to maintaining the general upkeep of the building and shared spaces.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently to identify and solve maintenance issues.

Skills

• Must be able to follow direction, work well with others, be self motivated
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools/ must be able to provide own tools and tool box
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends/holidays, call-in
• General knowledge of cut table and sample machines a plus

Qualifications

• 5 or more years maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
• 2 years air compressor knowledge
• 5 or more years welding experience (mig & stick)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.76 - $21.95 per hour
