The Dixie Group has a vacancy for a Rug Cutter at our distribution location in Adairsville, GA.

The Rug cutter is responsible for cutting, shaping, and trimming rugs or carpets to specific sizes, designs, and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut rugs or carpets to the required dimensions.
• Trim and adjust edges to fit specific rug shapes, such as round, square, or custom designs.
• Inspect rugs for defects, ensuring it has clean, straight edges without fraying.
• Make adjustments or repairs as needed to meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift or pull rugs as needed.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Basic math skills
• Strong ability to prioritize
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-stress situations
• Must be a team player and self-motivated
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.52 - $18.35 per hour
