About HSAGP Energy LLC

HSAGP (Hyundai-SK America Green power) Energy LLC. is Hyundai Motor Group and SK on' s joint venture company to produce batteries for EVs. The joint venture plans to invest $5 billion to build an EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia. Hyundai Motor Group and SK On will each hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture. The new plant created by the two companies is expected to start manufacturing battery cells in the first half of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 35 GWh, enough to support the production of 300,000 EVs a year. The future Bartow County plant in northwest Georgia is strategically located near Hyundai Motor Group’s existing and planned U.S. facilities. Hyundai Motor Group broke ground last year on the new Hyundai Motor Group Meta plant America in southeast Georgia to make future Hyundai, Genesis and Kia EVs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

“Serve as the primary point of contact for plant leadership on day to day payroll matters!””

1. Payroll Processing & Accuracy

  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Review pre-processing and post-processing reports to identify and correct errors before finalizing payroll.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure timely Payroll funding and proper GL entries.
  • Enter validate changes such as new hires, terminations, rate changes, and special payments (differentials, etc.).

2. Time & Attendance Management

  • Verify Overtime, shift differentials, premium pay, PTO, and unpaid time in line with federal/state wage and hour rules.
  • Partner with manager to resolve discrepancies in timecards and ensure approvals are complete on schedule.
  • Reconcile time and attendance data from the timekeeping system (ADP WFM) for all shifts

3. Reporting & Year-End Activities

  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc payroll reports for HR, Accounting & Finance, and management (e.g., headcount, overtime, labor cost).
  • Implement with month-end and year-end close activities related to payroll expenses and accruals.
  • Complete year-end processes including W-2 review, reconciliation, and distribution.

4. Process Improvement & Systems Support

  • Participate in testing and implementation of payroll system updates, changes, and enhancements.
  • Provide Service to HR and relevant department on system or policy changes needed to improve data accuracy and user experience.


Experience Requirements / Competencies

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree (degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business administration or finance) or equivalent practical experience
  • Required more than 3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a high - volume, hourly manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations (e.g., overtime, meal/rest periods, shift premiums)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large date sets and reports
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and balance with deadline-based projects

High level of accuracy, attention to details, and sense of ownership over deliverables.
