The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees, processes and systems related to inventory, order building and loading of products for distribution.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities; receive, process, issues and ship, assure stock and warehouse facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
- Assist with providing necessary security within the warehouse.
- Maintain a variety of records, files, and reports, maintain records of stock and order supplies as necessary.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and secure manner.
- Supervise warehouse personnel by setting direction and priorities.
- Assist with team development and cross training.
- Ensure all warehouse employees adhere to customer compliance and shipping requirements including packaging requirements, cartons and pallet labeling.
- Research all customer compliance violations and identify improvement where necessary.
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, operate a computer and assigned software to input data and generate reports tools as required.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition; ensure the warehouse department complies with GMP’s EHS, and OSHA regulations.
- Have working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Familiar with customer receiving compliance requirement, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS World Ship, WMS, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Monitor WM/MM system competition of all documents within system affecting Warehouse movements.
- Variety of reporting including goods, movements, volumes and costs.
Your Profile:
- Associate's degree in related field
- 5+ years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food & beverage industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years of SAP experience
