Description: Registered Behavior Technician, 187-day annual Classified position, Pay Grade 13 with hourly rate depending upon relevant full time work experience. See Classified Salary Schedule at https://www.cartersvilleschools.org/departments/financial-services/salary-schedules.Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree or higher; OR 2 complete years of college with at least 60 semester hours; OR High School diploma and pass accepted Paraprofessional Assessment, Registered Behavior Technician Certificate or willingness to obtain and maintain the RBT certification. Prefer at least one year of experience with students with significant disruptive behaviors and/or Autism/Emotional Behavioral Disorders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis to implement protocols with fidelity.- Provide direct instruction of behavior strategies to students, including positive reinforcement and differential reinforcement within the classroom.- Collect and evaluate data using direct and indirect methods.- Provide teacher consultation and support on BIPs and FBAs.- Assess and monitor the generalization of treatments across settings and staff members.- Participate in professional development opportunities in Applied Behavior Analysis, assessments, and treatment of severe behaviors.- Generate and share objective session notes with implicit description of behaviors and strategies.- Assist BCBA in providing training and other professional learning to school staff.- Participate in meetings with families and schools as needed.- Assist in the development of crisis intervention plans as appropriate.- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst.- Model correct use of oral and written language.- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of job requirements and responsibilities.- Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality.Complies with any reasonable oral or written direction of the assigned supervisor.Reports to: Principal or his/her designee.Application Procedure: Candidates should complete the system application available at https://www.applitrack.com/cartersville/onlineapp/.
