STUDENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST. General Description: Cartersville City Schools is creating a position to directly oversee and implement the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) protocol to maximize student achievement and reduce behavioral interference to instruction. Minimum Qualifications: Possess or be eligible for valid Georgia teaching certification; minimum 3+ years successful classroom teaching experience preferably in middle grades; relevant experience/training in MTSS, 504, PBIS a plus; strong interpersonal communication skills.
