Position Title: School Nutrition Assistant Effective Date: 2025-2026 school year, 183-day position Reports to: School Nutrition Manager Qualifications: High school diploma or GED certificate is desired. Previous school cafeteria experience preferred. Performance Responsibilities: Participates in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food; stores and cares for foods and supplies; cleans, services and cares for equipment and facilities; checks invoices and inventory; records inventory; follows daily work schedule and standardized recipes; plans for use of left-over food; keeps work areas neat and clean; prompt and regular attendance; positive attitude; attends in-service programs; performs other duties as assigned; complies with directives.
