JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant, Facilities Maintenance (CO)
JOB DETAILS: 49% position (no benefits), 236 days, Classified Hourly Salary Schedule - E1
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides administrative support to the Director.
• Provides frontline customer service to visitors and callers.
• Serves as liaison between local schools and vendors.
• Issues and retrieves vendor keys to facilitate after-hours projects at schools.
• Processes incoming deliveries.
• Supports purchase order and invoice processing.
• Maintains records of employee leave forms and provides to HR as needed.
• Facilitates furniture and material transfer as needed.
• Supports local school principals by coordinating substitute custodial support as needed.
• Coordinates substitute custodial support to Central Office as needed.
• Provides courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Performs tasks in software for receiving quotes, processing requisitions, attaching purchase orders for the department.
• Coordinates training of head custodians in proper equipment use and chemicals usage.
• Provides support to lead custodians regarding custodial purchasing and priorities.
• Notary Public as needed for contracts, E-Verify, and other documents that require a notary.
• Interacts effectively with a wide variety of people in a wide variety of settings.
• Demonstrates effective time management skills by completing assignments within deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates high standards of conduct and ethics as well as appropriate judgment, independence, and discretion.
• Follows federal and state laws as well as Bartow County Board of Education policies.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
| · Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent · Congenial telephone techniques · Strong computer skills · Working knowledge of MS Office package · Strong organizational skills · Good communication skills |
