POSITION TITLE: Teacher - K-5 for the 2026-2027 School Year

LOCATION(S): Hamilton Crossing ES, Mission Road ES, Taylorsville ES

START DATE: July 27, 2026

JOB DESCRIPTION: Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of elementary school curriculum and subject matter. Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia teaching certificate in Elementary Education (P-5).

SKILLS: Excellent written and oral skills to communicate with students, parents, and stakeholders. Physical demands include standing and walking a minimum of six hours a day; lift, carry and pull up to 50 pounds.

EXPERIENCE: No previous classroom experience required.
